FAQ
Do I have to have a Flexi subscription to use Flexi DESIGN?
With Flexi DESIGN you can create artwork for print, print and cut, banners, stickers, DTF DTG, traffic signage and more regardless of what RIP you use. It can be an accompaniment to a Flexi subscription as well as connect to third party RIPs for printing.
Can I print or cut with Flexi DESIGN?
Flexi DESIGN is a design-only application and does not include the Production Manager RIP functionality.
SAi’s Flexi subscription includes RIP and print functionality as well as the Flexi DESIGN interface.
Are there any differences between Flexi DESIGN for Windows and macOS?
Due to programming differences, there are a few tools that are not included with the macOS version. They are listed here:
- True Shape Nesting
- Adobe Plugin Support (which includes EyeCandy/Exposure functionality)
- Some Vectorizing tools as seen in the Bitmap > Vectorize menu:
- Bezier
- Enhanced Curves
- Enhanced Corners
- Centerline

Do I get access to Sign Design Elements and Find My Font with a Flexi DESIGN subscription?
Sign Design Elements and FindMyFont are both included in a Flexi DESIGN subscription.
Every SAi cloud account receives 5 free downloads at Sign Design Elements.
Due to programming complications, FindMyFont is only compatible with the Windows version of Flexi DESIGN but Flexi DESIGN for macOS users still have access to FindMyFont. Just log in on any Windows computer to get started.
