At SAi, we’re committed to constant innovation and practical improvements that help you work smarter, not harder. In Q2 2025, both Flexi and EnRoute received powerful updates that improve performance, expand compatibility, and introduce new tools for print, cut, design, and CNC workflows. Whether you’re a signmaker, print service provider, or CNC fabricator, these updates are designed to keep your shop running at peak efficiency.
Below, we’ll walk through the biggest highlights in Flexi, EnRoute, and more from this past quarter.
SAi OnSite: Streamlining Site Surveys for Sign Shops
After launching in Q1, SAi OnSite continues to gain adoption as sign shops modernize their site survey and installation prep workflows. OnSite is a lightweight, affordable app designed to replace paper-based surveys and miscommunication with a standardized, guided digital process.
Why OnSite is a Game Changer
- Standardized Site Surveys – Guide surveyors through consistent steps with required fields, photos, and job-specific inputs.
- Real-Time Oversight – Project managers can track survey progress live, review uploads instantly, and avoid costly mistakes.
- Digital Records That Stay Organized – Every survey stays in one place, linked to the job, no more lost clipboards or missing measurements.
- Flexible Pricing for Any Shop – Start with just $99 for 5 surveys, and scale up with usage-based tiers or enterprise options.
Whether you’re a small shop trying to cut down rework or a larger operation managing dozens of surveys per week, OnSite gives your team a smoother, more professional site survey process.
Flexi Q2 2025: New Features and Workflow Improvements
Flexi continues to evolve as the go-to all-in-one software for design, RIP, print, and cut workflows. The Q2 update brings smarter features, support for new hardware, and enhancements aimed at DTF (direct-to-film) printing, font management, nesting, and more.
New Printer Driver Support
Flexi now supports several new printers, including DTF, UV, solvent, and hybrid flatbed models:
- HP R530 Hybrid Flatbed – Flexi can now download media tables and profiles directly from this hybrid flatbed printer and send RIP’d jobs via hotfolder. Profiles and settings align with industry standards like Caldera and Onyx.
- Roland TY-300 DTF Printer – Designed for maximum DTF performance across a wide range of materials. Flexi users can now fully leverage this powerhouse printer for bold, durable heat transfers.
- Roland XP-640 Solvent Printer – A new solvent printer for vivid, high-resolution graphics.
- Roland BD-8 and BD-12 UV Printers – Desktop UV printers that support both direct printing and UV DTF transfers, ideal for short-run product customization.
- Epson 9170 – Driver available in the next build; interim updater available upon request.
- New FlexiCOMPLETE 3M Authorized Version – Now includes support for HP L730/730W and HP L830/830W printers, giving 3M-certified shops even more printing options.

The only compact all-in-one printer designed for both rigid and flexible materials.

ultra-fast dry times and a user-replaceable printhead.
Enhanced DTF and Transparency Workflow
- The Transparency tab has been renamed to DTF and Transparency to reflect its broader functionality.
- Tools in this tab have been reorganized to improve usability for DTF workflows.
- New White Channel Choke setting lets you fine-tune the white underbase, reducing halos and improving print sharpness.
- Cut Along Page Border and Cut Along Job options let you dial in cut paths based on either the page layout or the actual artwork boundary.

Font and Design Enhancements
- Flexi now supports Select All / Deselect All functionality in the Font Filter tool, making font management faster.
- Copy and paste using Ctrl+C / Ctrl+P is now supported on the master layer, a helpful improvement for page-wide consistency.
Performance and Compatibility Boosts
- Nested job processing is now faster and more efficient, great for saving material and time on large production runs.
- Job dimensions now auto-update when an item is removed from a nested group, eliminating an extra manual step.
- Added mirror rotation for Canon Colorado and LogoJet spot color swatches.
- Numerous localization improvements enhance usability for international users.
EnRoute Q2 2025: Smarter Toolpaths, Better CNC Control
EnRoute’s latest updates are packed with new functionality for CNC shops, including improved toolpathing, faster rendering, and greater customization of milling, engraving, and labeling workflows.
Rapid Texture Previewing
One of the most exciting updates: you can now preview rapid textures directly in the 3D Preview tab. No need to generate geometry or run simulations beforehand. Simply choose a tool, use the Z-depth slider, and see how your texture will look before cutting.

Progressive Milling Refinements
For shops looking to increase precision and surface finish:
- Step Size and Overlap can be independently controlled.
- Clean Path Offset lets you decide how much material is left for the cleanup pass, improving quality.
- The new Bi-directional checkbox eliminates directional constraints, allowing toolpaths to alternate back and forth for faster routing.

. Progressive milling advancing bi-directionally.
New Chamfer Tool Type
A new Chamfer Tool option is now available for:
- Pocketing (Island, Hatch, etc.)
- Threading
- Routing Offsets
Using conic or ball-nose tools, you can easily apply edge chamfers and remove burrs without extra processing. Tool depth can be adjusted to avoid cutting with the tip and instead use the bit’s sides for a cleaner edge.
Multi-File Label Support
Labeling jobs just got easier:
- LabelMaker now allows you to queue multiple label files for sequential printing.
- LabelPrinter supports sending labels from multiple files to be printed at once, saving setup time and reducing manual intervention.
Faster Navigation and CNC Workflow Enhancements
- The Tool Changer is now accessible directly from the Tool Library, speeding up multi-tool job prep.
- Rendering performance has been improved across the board, especially for STL files, meshes, and simulated 3D views.
- Manipulating large groups of objects is now much faster, reducing delays during design refinement.
