Description

The Software Technical Support Specialist utilizes problem solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills to assist users with industry leading sign making software. They are the front line of contact for our North American user base; providing remote technical assistance via telephone and email which ranges from software installation, basic training of software tools, and complex troubleshooting of software and hardware systems.

Skills & Qualifications

Applicant must be a self-starter who maintains a professional and positive attitude. Remaining kind and patient while working with clients who are in high stress situations is a top skill needed for this position. The ideal candidate will possess at least a few of the following skills and qualifications. We are willing to train the right candidate.

  • Must be proficient navigating Windows operating system.
  • Knowledge of networking systems preferred
  • Customer Service experience required
  • Technical Support experience highly preferred
  • Ability to communicate technical subject matter to less-technical clients
  • Able to work with clients of differing technical abilities
  • Problem Solving
  • Troubleshooting Software and Hardware
  • Able to work consistently without constant supervision

While the following is not required, applicants with such experience are highly encouraged to apply:

  • Sign Making/Sign Shop experience
  • Wide-format printing
  • Digital printing
  • Vinyl cutting
  • Graphic design
  • Vehicle wraps
  • Color management
  • CNC routing
  • Fluent in either Spanish or French
  • Experience with Flexi SIGN & PRINT software a huge plus
  • Experience with EnRoute software a huge plus
